When a business enables the AI Receptionist, inbound phone calls to their configured phone number may be answered by an automated AI voice agent. Calls are recorded, transcribed, and analyzed to generate a call summary, extract contact details, and create leads or appointments in the business's workspace.
2. Notice to Callers
Businesses using the AI Receptionist are responsible for providing callers with adequate notice that the call is being answered by an automated system and may be recorded and transcribed. In two-party consent jurisdictions, businesses must ensure they have consent from all parties before recording.
3. Human Transfer
The AI may transfer the call to a human on request or when the situation requires it. If transfer occurs, both segments of the call may be recorded.
4. How Recordings Are Used
- To generate the call transcript, summary, and any suggested next actions in the workspace.
- To improve the accuracy of the specific business's own AI configuration (business hours, FAQs, tone).
- To provide support and troubleshoot issues on request.
Recordings and transcripts are stored within the business's workspace. We do not sell recordings and do not authorize AI providers to train their public models on them.
5. Retention & Deletion
Recordings and transcripts are retained for the business's active use. Businesses can request deletion of specific recordings or of their entire workspace by contacting izion0718@gmail.com.
6. Emergencies
The AI Receptionist is not an emergency service. If a caller has an emergency, they should hang up and dial 911 (or their local emergency number).
